CRC Welcomes Andrew Grim to National Construction Practice Group as Senior Vice President

CRC Group, a leading wholesale specialty insurance distributor in North America, announces the hiring of Andrew Grim as Senior Vice President, a key addition to the company’s growing National Construction Practice Group. Based in Dallas, Texas, Grim’s expertise and leadership will support the practice’s national reach and further solidify CRC’s commitment to delivering unparalleled results for its clients and partners.

Grim joins CRC with over a decade of experience with another wholesale brokerage firm, where he held several senior leadership roles, including Executive Director of Specialty and National Casualty Practice Leader. During his tenure, Grim oversaw practice group growth, developed innovative Excess & Surplus Lines products, and consistently delivered top-tier solutions for complex casualty insurance programs. His expertise spans large residential, commercial, and public works construction, real estate portfol ios, and comprehensive consolidated insurance programs (CIPs, OCIPs, and CCIPs).

In addition to his production expertise, Grim is highly regarded for his leadership in professional development. His contributions to the insurance industry have earned him numerous accolades, including recognition as one of Insurance Business America’s 2025 and 2019 “Hot 100” and the 2019 “Young Broker of the Year” award from Insurance Insider.

“We are thrilled to welcome Andrew to our construction practice,” said Evan Aldrich, National Construction Practice Group Leader. “Andrew brings a wealth of niche expertise, an unwavering commitment to client relationships, and a collaborative leadership style that perfectly aligns with our team’s values. Together, we’re poised to deliver even greater value and differentiated results to our clients and partners.” The addition of Grim is part of CRC’s strategic effort to expand its presence in the construction market. By prioritizing top-tier talent and accelerating growth within the construction practice, CRC is positioning itself to gain significant market share and further strengthen its competitive edge.

“Andrew’s appointment is a testament to our continued investment in exceptional talent. We are committed to growth in the construction space, and Andrew represents a significant step towards that realization,” added CRC Commercial Solutions Chief Executive Officer Mike Brennan. “With more exciting announcements on the horizon, we’re positioning for a banner 2025 and beyond.”
