Neil Kessler promoted to CEO, Wholesale Division

Neil Kessler will lead a newly formed Wholesale Division including the Commercial Solutions businesses (CRC Brokerage, CRC Binding, and Tapco) and the Life, Retirement, and Benefits businesses (BenefitMall, Crump, and Hanleigh). There will be no changes to any underlying operating brand names or leadership teams for those businesses.

Effective January 1, 2024 CRC Group announced Neil Kessler will lead a newly formed Wholesale Division including the Commercial Solutions businesses (CRC Brokerage, CRC Binding, and Tapco) and the Life, Retirement, and Benefits businesses (BenefitMall, Crump, and Hanleigh). There will be no changes to any underlying operating brand names or leadership teams for those businesses.

Kessler will continue to report to Dave Obenauer in his role as Vice Chairman and President of Truist Insurance Holdings.

“This decision marks an important moment in our history as we transition leadership to Neil, who has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities, strategic acumen, and unwavering commitment to our success,” said Obenauer. “His promotion is also a testament to the strong leadership pipeline we have within our organization.”

The new structure will allow the organization to better serve clients and carrier partners as the company continues to grow.
